Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of animee.app and the Tiny Stories: Chibi Editor beta provided by Tiny Stories, Inc ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the website or beta, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

1. App license and Apple services

Your use of the app is subject to the license terms supplied with it and the applicable terms for Apple’s distribution services, including TestFlight. Where applicable, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app license. These website terms do not replace that agreement.

2. Beta availability

The app is pre-release software. It may contain errors, lose data, or stop working. Features may change or be removed, and beta builds may expire. You are responsible for keeping backups of your projects and media.

We may modify or discontinue the beta or website. Beta participation does not guarantee a public release, a release date, or continued access.

3. Acceptable use

You must comply with applicable law and may not use the app or website to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, distribute unlawful content, harass others, introduce malicious software, or interfere with security or operation.

4. Content and intellectual property

You retain the rights you hold in your original content. You are responsible for obtaining the permissions needed to import, edit, export, and share that content. Use of the app does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

The app, website, characters, artwork, trademarks, and other supplied materials remain the property of their respective owners. Rights to supplied materials are limited to those granted by the applicable license. Third-party and open-source components are subject to their respective licenses.

5. Third-party services

Apple, hosting providers, and services you use to store or share content operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control those services or the content of external websites.

6. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and beta are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any warranty, liability, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how personal information is handled in connection with the app and website.

8. Changes and contact

We may revise these terms. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. If you do not agree to the revised terms, stop using the website and beta.
