Tiny Stories, Inc ("we", "us", or "our") operates Tiny Stories: Chibi Editor and animee.app. This policy describes how we handle personal information in connection with the website and the current beta version of the app.

1. Information processed by the app

The app does not require an account. Projects, imported media, recordings, and captions are stored on your device. The current app does not upload this content to our servers and does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

App data may be included in device backups, depending on your settings. Exported or shared files are handled by the destination you select, including Photos, iCloud, or another service.

2. Device permissions

The app requests access to device features when needed:

• Photos: importing selected media and saving exported videos.
• Camera and microphone: capturing media and recording audio.
• Speech recognition: generating captions on supported devices using on-device processing. The app does not use server-based transcription as a fallback.

You can manage permissions in iOS Settings. Denying or revoking a permission may prevent the associated feature from working.

3. Beta testing and support

When you use TestFlight, Apple collects installation, usage, device, and crash information and shares it with us. Depending on how you were invited, this may include your name and email address. Feedback you submit may include comments, screenshots, and attachments. We use this information to investigate issues and improve the app. See Apple’s TestFlight privacy notice.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this information to respond to your request and provide support.

4. Website data

Vercel hosts this website. Hosting and security services may process your IP address, browser details, requested URLs, and request times to deliver the website, maintain security, and diagnose errors. See Vercel’s privacy notice.

We do not add advertising cookies, visitor analytics, or marketing trackers. Fonts are served by this website. Text entered in the interactive demo is held in the page’s memory and is not submitted to us.

5. Disclosure and retention

We use service providers for website hosting, email, and beta distribution. They process information as needed to provide those services. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights, security, or the safety of others. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

We retain support correspondence and information available to us from beta testing for as long as needed to address requests, investigate issues, or meet legal obligations. Local project data remains on your device until you delete it. Service providers apply their own retention policies to information they process independently.

6. Your rights and choices

You can delete projects in the app or remove the app to delete its local data. Exported files, shared copies, and backups must be deleted separately.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to restrict or object to its processing. Send requests to support@animee.app. We may need to verify your identity. You may also have a right to complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

8. International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence, where data protection laws may differ.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app, website, or our practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
