Animee - Privacy Policy

Welcome to Animee, a mobile application developed by Anime.com Inc. (“we”, “our”, or “us”). Your privacy is important to us, and this Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our Animee mobile app (the “App”).

By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Personal Information

While we do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from users of the Animee App directly, third-party services we integrate (such as the Facebook Ads SDK) may collected limited information such as name, email address, phone number, and physical address.

2. Information We Collect

We collect limited information to help us improve the App and understand how it is used. This includes:

a) Usage Data

We collect anonymized information about how users interact with the App, such as:

Features accessed (e.g., avatar creation, clothing selection)
Frequency and duration of sessions
Interaction patterns within the App

This data is collected in aggregate and does not identify you personally.

b) Device Identifiers

We collect certain device-level information, including:

Device type (e.g., iPhone, iPad)
Operating system version
Language and region settings
Advertising Identifiers (IDFA or similar)

These identifiers help us monitor app performance and serve advertising (if applicable).

In addition, some third-party SDKs (such as Facebook Ads SDK) may collect and use certain identifiers in combination with other data they possess for advertising and measurement purposes, including: User ID (if generated via SDK), device ID, mobile carrier, screen dimensions, app version, CPU type, storage size, IP address, and time zone.

c) Diagnostics and Crash Data

We collect diagnostic information to help identify bugs and improve performance, such as:

App loading errors
Performance metrics

This information is collected through tools like Apple’s crash reporting and analytics services and is not used to identify individual users.

d) Advertising Data

We may collect and process data to measure the effectiveness of ad impressions and engagements. This may include:

Anonymous ad interaction data
Information on how users respond to ads served in the App

Third-party SDKs (such as Facebook Ads SDK) may collect Coarse location data (e.g., city or state), advertising ID (IDFA), purchase history, browsing and search history, and other inferred or observed data, and they may associate such data with a user’s Facebook or Meta account if the user is logged into such services on their device.

3. How We Use the Information

We use the collected data solely to:

Improve the performance and reliability of the App
Understand usage trends and user engagement
Monitor and respond to app crashes and technical issues
Serve contextual (non-personalized) advertisements

We do not use collected data to identify users, nor do we sell any data to third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

These third parties are contractually obligated to use the data solely on our behalf and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, except where they collect data under their own privacy policies.

5. Children’s Privacy

The Animee App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take prompt steps to delete it.

6. Your Choices

You may limit personalized advertising or opt out of tracking via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) feature by adjusting your iOS privacy settings.

Because we do not collect personal data or offer account-based features, there are limited settings for managing privacy within the App itself. However:

You can reset or limit your device’s Advertising Identifier through your device settings
You may uninstall the App at any time, which deletes any local data stored on your device

7. Security

We implement industry-standard measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of the limited data we collect. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users by updating the "Effective Date" and posting a notice in the App or on our website.
